Let’s make this beautiful fall apple pie banner πŸŽ

Hi there! This article is a DIY creating an adorable apple pie banner! This DIY is super simple and you can make it under $5 (how can you beat that??)

If you are looking for the Pumpkin Pie version of this you can find the tutorial here πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŽƒ

Let’s get started with a shopping list!

  • Four sheets of gold paper
  • One sheet of tan “crust” colored paper
  • An Exacto knife
  • A cutting board
  • Hot glue gun
  • String/Twine

Plug in your glue gun & let’s get started! Start off by cutting the gold paper “hot dog style” into four inch strips. Then, cut the paper into matching triangles.

Next step – cut the tan “crust paper into strips. These do not necessarily need to be even. Just thin, long strips

Clear your work space and start with your first slice. Glue three strips across the pie slice using a generous amount of hot glue

Wait for the glue to dry and lay three more thin strips on top, creating the CUTE checkered pattern 😍

Wait for the glue to dry and trim the excess.

Time for the crust! Take a left over tan strip and fold it into a “zig zag” pattern.

With a generous amount of hot glue, attach the crust to the top of the pie slice

And there you have it! Attach these pretty little slices to twine and hang them up in your home! I’d love to see how your banners turned out below! Again, you can check out the Pumpkin version of this here πŸ˜πŸ˜ Happy Crafting!
